This meeting is designed for:
Current regional anesthesia fellows
Fromer fellows in their first year out of fellowship
If you’re asking, “How do I make all these amazing skills actually work for me in practice?”—you’re in the right place.
You’ll also meet others at the exact same stage of training…which is rare, and incredibly valuable. -
ASRA, ASA and similar meetings are outstanding for broad exposure to new research, emerging techniques, and large-scale education.
This is something different—by design.
You’ll spend less time sitting in lecture halls and more time in conversation, discussion, and hands-on learning with faculty and peers. The focus is on the nuances of practice, the gray areas, and the real-world decisions that don’t always make it into formal talks.
You’ll also be part of a small team throughout the weekend—competing in interactive challenges, working together during sessions, and getting to know colleagues from across the country in a way that simply doesn’t happen at larger meetings.
It’s more personal. More interactive. And yes, it will be crazy fun.
-
We focus on the gaps between training and real practice:
Block selection and decision-making
Managing complications and failures
Building a block service
Surgeon relationships and buy-in
Career decisions and job structure
Advanced techniques and evolving approaches
Practical and immediately usable? Yup. And taught by people with tons of experience.
-
$0. Yup, really. It’s free. We want this to be as accessible as possible for fellows.
No registration fee.
No hidden costs.Food, drinks, social events, swag, prizes, and all the amazing educational content—all covered.
You just handle travel and lodging (we have negotiated discounted rooms at the JW Marriott).
-
Short, high-yield talks
Case-based discussions
Hands-on scanning with experts
Small-group breakout sessions
Interactive debates
Team-based challenges and competitions
You won’t be scrolling on your phone while someone gives a canned talk — this is about interaction and learning through active participation.
And throughout the weekend, there’s built-in time to connect—with peers, faculty, and your team—because those conversations matter just as much.
-
Faculty are carefully selected for:
Clinical excellence
Teaching ability
Real-world experience across practice settings
They’re not just presenting—they’re engaging, discussing, and participating alongside you throughout the weekend.
-
It means we answer to one priority:
What’s most useful—and most engaging—for fellows and early-career attendings
This allows us to:
Be selective with faculty and topics
Prioritize interaction over passive lectures
Build a more dynamic, connected experience
Have a ton of fun the whole time
-
Yes—and thoughtfully.
Industry partners are:
Carefully selected
Integrated into the experience
Available for meaningful interaction—not just booths
-
Absolutely—and it’s built into the structure of the meeting.
You’ll meet:
Fellows from across the country
Early-career attendings navigating similar decisions
Faculty in a relaxed, approachable setting
Between sessions, team activities, and social events, there are constant opportunities to connect.
This isn’t just about what you learn—it’s who you meet (and who can help shape your career for years to come)
-
Yes.
We’re intentionally keeping the meeting small to preserve:
Interaction
Access to faculty
Team-based experience
Once it’s full, it’s full.
