The Summit was built by people with a profound commitment to education

Yes, we are fellowship directors.

Faculty at national and international conferences.

Leaders in regional anesthesia.

But more importantly, we are educators who care deeply about the transition from training to practice, and have seen firsthand where this transition can be challenging.

That perspective is what shaped this meeting.

The Summit is independently organized

Which means we can focus on one thing — what actually matters for fellows and early-career attendings.

  • Thoughtful faculty

  • Meaningful discussion

  • Practical, experience-driven learning

All built into a weekend that is as engaging as it is useful.

About the Meeting Chair

The Regional Anesthesia Fellowship Summit is led by Jeff Gadsden, MD—a practicing regional anesthesiologist, educator, and division chief at Duke University.

Dr. Gadsden directs a high-volume regional anesthesia service, has taught regional anesthesia techniques nationally and internationally for over two decades, including courses with ASRA and NYSORA, and has helped train thousands of clinicians.

His educational work extends beyond the classroom, reaching a global audience through widely viewed online content and courses focused on practical, real-world application.

The Regional Anesthesia Fellowship Summit is a natural extension of that work—focused on one of the most important transitions in a clinician’s career.

Because how you start matters.
